Building cleaner

As a building cleaner you are responsible for keeping high-quality surfaces, facades, and facilities professionally clean and serviced. Thus, you help make the city cleaner, more hygienic, and friendly. And you need to handle complex materials and equipment. Your work will often take you to very high levels - as a building cleaner, you absolutely must not be afraid of heights.

Training curriculum
The usual duration of the building cleaner apprenticeship is three years. During this time, we will build up your skills and knowledge in the following areas:

• Use of surface treatment products
• Handling ladders, scaffolding, fall protection equipment, lift platforms, and building maintenance units
• Using cleaning equipment and machinery
• Cleaning, disinfection, maintenance, and conservation work
• Cleaning and servicing of traffic guidance equipment and highly frequented public areas
• Measures to assure hygiene, pest control, and decontamination

Your training will take place at Wall AG facilities in the Berlin metropolitan area. You will take your final examination at the Berlin Chamber of Trade.

Your qualifications Do you have the German general secondary school certificate or MSA (German GSCE)? Your grade average for the subjects German, Math, and English is 3.5 or higher?
